I needed to get my 10 yr old dog in for an injury. They needed to keep him and fit him in. Leaving him was kind of like the first day of Kindergarten. A lot of trust from me. I have to say everyone was wonderful to him and he was just as happy when we left. I would totally recommend them to anyone needing a vet.

We had the most lovely experience with Zack and his vet tech (forgive me I can't remember her name). The clinic was closed on Sunday but they met us there so we could put our 17 year old buddy to rest. We knew the day was close and when he couldn't walk or stand that morning, we made the quick decision so he wasn't in any pain. When we got to the clinic Zack suggested being outside under the trees with the wind and birds in the background. The tech made the paperwork and payment super easy by bringing me everything outside so I could stay with our guy every last second. Zack explained every step and made sure we had plenty of time with our little guy. We couldn't have asked for a more comfortable and peaceful way to send our pup over the rainbow bridge. Thank you beyond words! ❤️🌈

2 things, this vet helped save a little ducky who had a vitamin deficiency that my friend was helping and they also helped me with my dog on a emergency visit and i am.from out of town with a fish hook that got caught in her ear and they didn't over charge me. Super nice staff with great big hearts!

Above and beyond care, with fair prices. Our dog suffered a broken leg and after many weeks of treatment with the staff at Alpine vet he is on the road to a full recovery. Their flexibility and accommodation of our emergency and ongoing needs were unparalleled, and although we expected to spend a fortune the pricing here was incredibly reasonable - quite a bit less than anticipated. Best of all, the doctors and vet techs were top notch and took great care of our boy. We will forever be grateful!

You will not find a more compassionate person to care for your loved one than Dr. Zach. He helped my girl cross the rainbow bridge with so much love and peace. He doesn't just care for your pets, but the whole family. I will always call Dr. Zach my family vet and friend to any future furry family members I have.

I brought my young cat Molly to Dr. Zack after she developed painful bone growths in her legs. Instead of just prescribing pain meds, and sending me on my way, he researched and consulted other vets to find answers, and followed up with me the very next day. Over the next nine months, he stayed closely involved, offering clear options and supporting both Molly’s comfort and my emotions. Once it became time to say goodbye to her, Dr. Zack and his assistant came to my home so Molly could go peacefully, surrounded by family. He explained everything with care and compassion, and truly honored Molly’s life. He also thanked me for thinking of my pets welfare over my own. That was helpful for me to hear. I’ve been with Hood River Alpine Veterinary for over 20 years, and the entire team has always been kind, empathetic, and professional. A+ across the board.

I love them. They are very kind and helpful.. filled my pups Rx when his regular vet refused to. Dr Foss is fantastic as is his team. So very grateful. They have called me back to discuss our options with our pup. They were very patient and kind. They answered all our questions and had great advice.

Probably the best vet I've ever been too. Dr Zach was very caring and compassionate towards my dog Boone. I called after hours emergency and took the dog along with my three young boys with me at 730pm. Boone broke his leg and it seemed Dr Zach cared for him like his own child. He was professional, polite and also treated my children very well with all their 8,6,4 year old kid questions. I live in south Wasco county and if I ever need another vet I'll be driving to Hood River.

I was taking my dogs to another vet in town and unfortunately they weren’t taken care of at the other vet properly. Had to bring both dogs to alpine and they have saved my dogs life. Dr Michael and Dr Zach are amazing people who actually care about their patients. I highly recommend this vet. Everyone in this clinic are amazing and caring.

We love Dr. Edwards and the entire staff! Dr. Edwards is always so kind, thoughtful, and knowledgeable — he truly sees our pup for who he is. Everyone there is so warm and genuinely excited when Jet comes in, which makes visits extra special (especially since Jet loves going here!). We can barely pull into the parking lot before he starts whining with excitement. We’re so grateful to have this group of lovely humans on our pup’s care team.
